ABOUT THE PROJECT:

The front garden of this commanding property in Notting Hill required some creative thinking in order to provide privacy from the street whilst creating formality and a strong structure. It was also technically challenging as the garden was over an underground gym. Mature Box headed Hornbeams were planted along with Box hedging, clipped into cloud forms, were planted into raised beds specially waterproofed. The rear garden was also planted to give privacy but also to link it to the garden square beyond. The gardens have been skilfully maintained by Mark Steel of The Chiswick Gardener.
