2009

Hartree House, Midlothian, Scotland
Masterplanning of an estate set in the stunning Scottish Borders which includes the restoration of the original parkland and the design of extensive new gardens which include large formal gardens with terraces, an orangery, ornamental vegetable and cutting garden and courtyards around the main house. The scheme also includes the creation of a lake, orchards and working vegetable gardens with extensive planting programmes being planned for Autumn 2009.

Forest of Bere Estate, Hampshire
Working with the architect Julian Bicknell on a the gardens and surrounding landscape for a new country house. The scheme includes a walled sunken garden, scented garden, courtyards and extensive planting schemes to enhance the character and setting of the house.

Design and implementation of gardens around an old Sussex farmhouse. The scheme includes the removal of large conifers and a Õ1970sÕ style garden and replacing them with yorkstone terraces and steps with extensive perennial borders, an orchard and wildflower meadow.

Design and implementation of landscape proposals for the rejuvenation of a 8 hectare private property, including large contemporary rear garden with yorkstone terraces, architectural walling, herbaceous borders and pleached lime walk. Other areas included the creation of an organic vegetable garden, rose garden, bog garden, tree house, a 1 ha wild flower meadow with extensive planting throughout.
